There is very little point in having a great looking website if nobody ever sees it, this is why web design and search engine optimisation go hand in hand for any successful online marketing campaign. Search Engine optimisation (SEO) is the process of positioning a web site at or near to the top of the major search engine listings for particular keywords or key phrases. The three major search engines that this work covers is Google, Yahoo and Bing with Google having by far the largest market share.
The process of Search Engine Optimisation is generally split into 2 distinct areas, on-page and off-page SEO. On-page SEO is the process of ensuring that the search engines know, from the content of your site, what keywords to rank the site for. It is therefore important to have plenty of keyword rich content on the site and make sure all important elements, like titles and headings are fully optimised for the desired keyword(s). Off-page SEO is the process of building up the “popularity” of your site in the eyes of the search engines, we do this by building links from other sites back to yours. In truth, this is where the majority of SEO work is done, it is essentially a massive popularity contest and generally the business/website with the largest volume of targeted, high quality links will rank first (other factors do come into play, but link popularity is key).
What SEO services do we offer

All of our SEO services are tailored to suit your company and the marketplace that you operate in, we do not offer a “one size fits all” service as this can often be counter productive. This is how we would generally go about our service:
- Keyword analysis. We would first off look at keywords you are targeting and find related keywords, checking search volumes to see if these particular phrases are worth targeting.
- SERP analysis. For every keyword or phrase that you wish to target we would analyse the top ten websites currently ranking for those terms, to see just how competitive the field is.
- Competition analysis. An in-depth analysis of your competitors. How well their site is optimised, how many backlinks they have and who from, what keywords they are targetting etc.
- Optimise On-Page factors. If we have access to your site we would optimise each page for a particular keyphrase, if not then we would send you recommendations on changes we feel would help.
- Begin a link building campaign. We would then set about acquiring new links that point to your website to increase your link popularity.
